Over half of those surveyed for an exclusive Scotland on Sunday poll think the Scottish Government are not doing enough to meet their own health targets.

I think if the survey had been extended to all areas of government and their handling of all public services you’d have had the same result. Their constant droning about indy is becoming extremely tiresome, to say the least. Utter failures, and to think the salary these idiots pull and at our expense. They’re a disgrace!

In the SNP Growth Commission Report it confirms in the event of a Yes vote we would have pay extra for an NHS, essentiall­y ending a free at point of use health service. It is little wonder the SNP dare not mention the GCR report, instead choosing to still use the hugely discredite­d white paper as an example of SNP planning.

The SNP have squandered money allotted to put various services in place. It has been evident for some time now that their policies of giving freebies to minorities to get their votes has left huge holes in other budgets.

I have to agree with this. I waited 26 hours in Edinburgh’s ERI A&E three weeks ago (I’ll spare you the details).that compares badly with the four-hour target.

Toosh The underlying cause of all non-communicab­le disease is diet and lifestyle, and the NHS’S main purpose at the moment is to mitigate symptoms with expensive drugs, like statins, and surgical procedures instead of trying to cure the disease.
