Duke grounded

-

The Duke of Edinburgh has surrendered his driving licence after being involved in a crash and then being spotted behind the wheel without a seatbelt.

Surely better to slow down the road. We heard about this one because of the Royals being involved. There have been other accidents on the same road, shouldn’t action have been taken then?

Itzi Bitzi Royal Navy captains and above used to have a sailor carry parcels and other objects for them as it was bad form for an officer to be seen doing manual work. Similarly, Prince Philip should not be seen driving a car as he is depriving a driver of a job and, as driving is manual work, he should have an employee to do this for him.

Scottishman There are drivers, much younger, that kill people and through really bad driving but are back behind the wheel in a few years. At least the duke listened to what people were saying; with age comes a lot of problems but the mind can stay young.

Kraken I have to admit since Prince Philip’s accident I’ve been taking note of the times when driving how a low sun can blind one especially at this time of year. I now call them Prince Philip Moments.
