City keep rivals at bay
Edinburgh City remain four points clear at the top after playing out a goalless draw at the wind-lashed Balmoor, home of second-placed Peterhead.
Jack Leitch sent an early opening for the hosts’ wide and the Citizens’ Jack Breen did likewise midway through the first half. Peterhead’s Rory Mcallister went close after the break with a chipped effort before both defences closed ranks. City manager James Mcdonaugh said: “It is a good pointaswestoppedpeterhead making up any ground.”
