#ETHIOPIANA­IRCRASH

Seven British passengers were among the 157 people killed when an Ethiopian Airlines flight crashed shortly after take-off, officials have said.

@Skynewsbre­ak reported: “A spokesman for Ethiopian Airlines says a flight on its way to Kenya’s capital Nairobi with 149 passengers and eight crew members on-board has crashed.”

@Pmethiopia tweeted: “The Office of the PM, on behalf of the Government and people of Ethiopia, would like to express its deepest condolence­s to the families of those that have lost their loved ones on Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 on regular scheduled flight to Nairobi, Kenya this morning.”

@Tomi_oladipo stated: “Ethiopian Airlines spokespers­on has told @ ebczena that there were no survivors in the plane crash. 33 nationalit­ies on board.”

@Hamza_africa added: “BREAKING: No survivors from crashed Ethiopian Airlines plane, Ethiopia state broadcaste­r says. EBC says passengers from 33 nationalit­ies were on the flight to Nairobi. 149 passengers and 8 crew members were on board the plane.”

@Alexinair posted: “The brand new Boeing #737MAX (involved in today’s Ethiopian Airlines crash) is in service with many airlines – including: American Airlines, Norwegian, Flydubai, Air Italy, LOT Polish Airlines & TUI. This is the second major, fatal accident involving the Boeing 737 MAX in less than five months.”

The Foreign Secretary says failing to deliver Brexit would be devastatin­g for the Tories. Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, Jeremy Hunt said there was a risk of Brexit being reversed depending on how votes in Parliament went.
