The Foreign Secretary says failing to deliver Brexit would be devastating for the Tories. Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, Jeremy Hunt said there was a risk of Brexit being reversed depending on how votes in Parliament went.
@Adambienkov tweeted: “Jeremy Hunt, asked if the prime minister will be bound by MPS voting for a Brexit delay next week, says that May will “listen to what parliament says in that respect.” #marr.”
@breeallegretti added: “Hunt suggests the government would have to delay Brexit even if it gets the deal through. ‘We have an opportunity now to leave on March 29 or shortly thereafter’.”
@Ukmoments posted: “Labour’s Keir Starmer has suggested that a three-month delay to the Brexit process would be acceptable.”
