#OLDFIRM

The Old Firm clash between Celtic and Rangers was typically fiery. One of the sport’s biggest rivalries held its latest instalment as Glasgow Rangers visited city rivals Celtic. There were two red cards for the visitors and a late winner for the home side.

@c9gaffer: “What a game and rivalry. Unfortunately there are far too many who don’t understand that this is a football game and not some religious war.”

@ROSSYYNWA joked: “I’ve just drank a bottle of red wine and watched a programme on the border during the troubles. I’m never more prepared for the #Oldfirm.”

@Prends22 added: “The #Oldfirm is amazing. What a game.”

#BREXIT

Speaking on the Andrew Marr show, Justice Secretary David Gauke said the government would have to consider parliament’s will if the majority of MPS voted for the so-called Common Market 2.0 with another round of indicative votes. @steve_hawkes tweeted: “David Gauke is just putting a huge dollop of white paint on the PM’S red lines.” @Cazmo445 wrote: “How about no Whips telling them how to vote, no bribery... no black mailing ... just honest voting for a change! #Nevergonnahappen.” But @Bethanymilner added: “What about the will of the people the MPS are elected to represent?”

#CHUCKY

Mark Hamill will voice Chucky in the upcoming Child’s Play remake. The Star Wars star made the announcement at Wondercon via a short clip which he later shared online. Hamill said he “can’t wait to bring such an iconic character to life”. The film is set for a 21 June release.

@Krobertmarlo wrote: “Wow!!! I shrugged this whole thing off, not prepared for someone to match Dourif, but now? I’m SO in!”

@Saraho_connell wrote: “Me: ‘I’ve got absolutely zero interest in...’ @Hamillhimself: ‘I’m voicing Chucky’ Me: *Throws money at screen*.”

@Tayloryakowenko added: “Now that @Hamillhimself is voicing Chucky, I’m probably gonna have to cosplay it...”

@ihorrorvixen wrote: “This doesn’t make me more excited for this remake but I do want to see the movie to see how Mark Hamill does. (not sure I spelled his name right).”
