What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A white crocheted jumper with large opal sequins from ASOS. All sparkly and flashy. Why not?

What are you addicted to buying?

Trainers. I wouldn’t say I’m Imelda Marcos, though my husband might say otherwise, but I do love a good pair of fugly kicks. My current loves are the neon yellow Nike Air Force.

Best ever bargain?

The deep yellow Punk Royal T-shirt that I picked up in a vintage store in Austin, Texas. It was from the Eighties and was still in amazing condition. It cost about $5 and shows you don’t need to buy lots, you just need to buy well.

Who has great style?

Iris Apfel. She was quoted as saying that someone once said to her: “You’re not pretty, and you never will be, but it doesn’t matter. You have something much better. You have style.” And I truly live by that.

Name your favourite high street shop.

H&M when they do their designer collaborations. I love Moschino so when they collaborated I was ON IT! Unfortunately I was working on the MAC Matte Lipstick campaign so, while I was creating my make-up, I had two makeup assistants refreshing the website on both my phones. They did a brilliant job and I was able to get both jackets I was after.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

Too many. However, they weren’t fashion disasters, more fashion learnings.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

The sweater I wore for the promotional picture of Glow Up. It’s just a simple grey sweater but with these incredible coloured dots randomly stuck on. It takes something basic and makes it unique and fun. That sums up my style perfectly. Nobody should be basic. Be that unique individual that you are. Be joyful.
