Having had a constituency question raised about a Disability issue at Holyrood, I found that my issue was twisted by Kenneth Gibson and Michael Matheson of the SNP to insult and attack my MSP, who is a Tory.

I asked for an apology from these two members who were attacking my perfectly reasonable question on an issue that affects disabled people in Scotland. These men who were so quick to insult, refused to talk to me. I was informed that complaints are handled by the Presiding Officer, Ken Macintosh. Well, what can we say about him? After numerous e-mails I received a reply – MSPS do not have to talk to complainants and it is all just politics.

This gentlemen is paid an extremely high salary from the public purse. At FMQS he allows elected members to be routinely insulted and harangued, all to wild clapping, which is an embarrassment to the wider public. It is too late for him to gain respect and if his attitude is that all constituents with concerns have to accept that it is “just” MSPS playing politics, then it is also too late for us to have respect for him or the office which is now being tarnished.

I can’t be the only person sick to death of Nicola Sturgeon and John Swinney swiveling

around in their seats in Holyrood affecting hysterical laughter whenever challenged by an opposition MSP on the SNP’S obsession with independence.

It’s disrespectful and patronising. Ms Sturgeon, you’re in Holyrood not Hollywood.
