After taking 31 races to lose his maiden tag, Colour Contrast followed up over course and distance by three and a half lengths in division one of the #bebodykind Handicap for trainer Iain Jardine and jockey Jamie Gormley.

It took judge Fraser Perratt some ten minutes to decide that he not could separate the two Scottish-trained runners.

It is no easy feat making all the running over t wo miles, but Panatos did just that – and in style, too, as he stuck to his task admirably to get the verdict by two lengths from Three Star General.

Panatos now goes for the BJ Llewellyn Supports tenovuscancercare.org.uk Handicap, having only been raised 3lb.
