Troubled waters

Oddly for some, Boris would be very good for the Union. His performance as mayor of London was very good and he communicated well with a largely Labour population, too. So well he won a second term, too. He is also very intelligent and has managed in all this to write several books. That on Churchill and that on the Roman Empire being particularly good.

Corrigenda A real bridge-builder is ol’ Boris.

Fudzies Nemasis

Boris will be good for Scottish independence.

Allan Reid

Yes, he will free us from the Euro-shackles.

Ian Beale It’s like cholera endorsing the bubonic plague.

Brus Mckee Kiss of death for Boris? We can but hope.

Scotspat Boris will be the next Prime Minister of the UK, whether you like it or not.

Jwilliamson

Boris is popular with the Tory members but the list will be down to two before they get the chance to vote and by that time the MPS who don’t like him will have voted him out.

Roddy Macdonald

He’s just another non-uk born comedian intent on destroying the UK, and the under-educated plebs think he’s a great bloke because they’re too dim to realise that he’s leading them by the nose.

Mocha Man Open the original bridge to traffic until this mess is sorted – can’t be that difficult.

Graeme Robertson It is worth recalling that it was Mrs Sturgeon who cut the budget for the repair and maintenance of the Forth Road Bridge by a staggering 63 per cent – and then when the bridge had to be closed to all traffic for several months for repair Mrs Sturgeon claimed that its closure was “unforeseen”.

Ah’m No Bluffin The QC is another SNP vanity project that was opened far too early – for political reasons – and the prospect of up to 27 months after opening is not a realistic “snagging” period! As many have noted from the start, the roads infrastructure does not help the traffic flow and £1.3bn is not money well spent – but, hey doesn’t it look nice?

Is the Queensferry Crossing closed? No. Do motorists pay bridge tolls? No. Do petrolheads each want their own bridge to save inconvenience?

Queensferry Crossing is another success story for the SNP. Just like the SNHS, From a personal point of view you have to congratulate the Canadians on their attitudes towards cannabis. It can be bought in different formats and strengths tailored to the type of high required. Less people now smoke it, which will have added health benefits and it is controlled, out of the hands of criminal gangs.

Another Voice I’m gonna take a wild stab here and suggest many of the admissions resulted in telling the patients that they

handytrim Nursed for 35 years and never had a patient rushed into hospital due to cannabis; I did, however, have loads of people admitted due to alcohol.

Heather Henderson Just a thought, I wonder how many were admitted for drink-related issues? I’ll bet it was tenfold the number of people who reacted badly to weed. And just a little point, you can’t overdose on weed ... impossible ... you can make yourself sick but not overdose.

Martin Excessive or cumulative consumption of “weed” causes feelings of paranoia and aggression and like all psychotropic substances is addictive.
