Technology chief to enhance IOT development in Livingston

Jim Darroch is tasked with owning the company’s product vision and road map and expanding the product engineering team to meet growing client demand. He brings a wealth of experience in leading engineering teams and the development of internet of things (IOT) product strategies, most recently where he was globally accountable for the delivery of an intelligent IOT edge ecosystem in Honeywell’s Connected Enterprise organisation. Darroch said: “While there is a great deal of synergy with other emerging IOT use cases, subsea IOT presents enough challenges and opportunities to make WFS a fascinating place to work.”

Kirsty Yuill has been made partner and Kirsteen Picken has been promoted to associate. Both have shown “dedication to the firm and unwavering determination on behalf of their clients”. Yuill, who was appointed by the firm in 2015, has vast experience in insurance litigation with particular emphasis on major/complex loss and emerging risks. Picken joined as a trainee in 2013 and her experience covers areas including public liability, employers’ liability and road traffic claims.
