Winning mentality key for Mckinnon at Falkirk
Falkirk manager Ray Mckinnon wants to continue building a winning mindset at the Bairns by defeating Celtic’s Colt side in their Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Cup secondround tie.
Mckinnon’s team romped past Dumbarton 6-0 on Saturday and Mckinnon said: “We set the tone by scoring early and we will look to do the same again. Winning will help build the right mentality at this club.”
Celtic coach Tommy Mcintyre said: “Our players will respond positively to this tie.”
Stranraer are set to be without seven players for the visit of Rangers’ Under-21 side, with manager Stephen Farrell saying: “We have injuries, suspensions and cup tied players so this will be a test of our resources.”
