who think that they have what it takes to run Scotland as an independent nation.

John Gailey Another way for the rich to get richer, and the needy to be worse off.. health and wealth. It’s a disgrace.

Karen Mac At the end of the day, the contracted building company and their subcontractors have failed to provide a structure that is fit for purpose due to shoddy workmanship. They should not be paid until it is sorted. I cannot believe our elected leaders did not learn this lesson from the Parliament House fiasco.

Deanne Chatt I wonder if fate has stepped in. The children’s hospital and the adults’ hospital should never have been situated together. The kiddies’ hospital managed to avoid most of the superbugs and had distance from adults’ illnesses. I think the close proximity to the adults’ hospital will eventually result in cross contamination. A tragedy waiting to happen.

Sarahjane Mclaren Scottish youngsters are losing out on “clearing” places at Scots universities at the expense of students from England and around the globe, it has emerged. Home-based Scots will have roughly half the chance to access university “leftover” spots raising fresh concerns over the “cap” imposed by the Scottish Government to protect the system of free tuition. Ms Sturgeon: “Judge me on my record on education”. Scotland has Ms Sturgeon, and you’ve failed abysmally.

Ah’m no bluffin

SNP, better for Scotland ...... Doesn’t look like it ... AGAIN!

As a result these students do not compete for capped places with Scottish and EU students, so they’re not keeping Scots students out. It’s Scottish Government policy – the cap – and EU students that are responsible for keeping Scottish students out. Unemployment has soared in Scotland to top 100,000 as the impact of Brexit starts to bite, official figures have revealed.

Another day another “let’s blame Brexit” story.

No2communism Another day, another factual story about the negative impact of the Brexit process (Brexit hasn’t even happened yet). Still waiting for any story that gives us a factual non-negative impact story, other than the possible return of blue passports and “Brexit is great” 50p coin minting. Young activists gathered outside Scottish Tory headquarters in Edinburgh yesterday to warn against the threat of a no-deal Brexit to the UK.

The Scots Tories are disingenuous in the extreme. Brexit and Scexit are inextricably linked. A catastrophic Brexit will lead to a catastrophic Scexit!

Hog Weed What do these protesters know about what’s good for Scotland?

Angry Scot Perhaps we should terminate arrangements for frictionless, tariff-free trade with 27 of our nearest trading partners. Would that be good for Scotland?
