The Washington Nationals rallied late on to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in MLB’S National League wild card game. Visitors Milwaukee surged into a 3-0 lead after just two innings of the winner-takesall clash. They were still ahead in the eighth but Juan Soto’s three-run single turned the contest around. Nationals manager Dave Martinez told mlb.com: “How about (Soto)? He loves big moments and that was one of them.” Washington now face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the best-of-five National League Divisional Series which begins in California tonight.
