Aberdeen software outfit Insiso on track for £1 million after contract wins
A run of contract wins has led to business growth of almost a third at Aberdeen-based software developer Insiso.
The firm, which provides advanced software services to clients across the energy, retail, manufacturing, medical and financial sectors, said contracts secured this year totalled some £600,000. Over the past 12 months there has been a 30 per cent increase in business.
The company’s headcount has more than tripled in the last two years, from five to 17 members of staff.
Managing director Arrash Nekonam said: “It’s no exaggeration to say that the last 12 months have been our most successful yet.
“While it’s extremely gratifying to see our hard work bear fruit, we are ambitious to grow the business even further and we are on target to break the £1 million mark in revenue during 2020.”
The firm has recently completed a two-year project with global engineering services outfit Oceaneering International.
The Insiso team helped support the creation of Oceaneering’s new “Inform Inspect” digital asset inspection system.
Chris May, asset integrity systems director at Oceaneering International, said: “While we have worked previously with the team at Insiso, this was our first collaboration on such a major project.
“Their experience, insight and knowledge were invaluable – supporting us as we developed our concepts and plans into a fully operational system.”
The software used by Oceaneering is said to streamline non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and inspection management. The tablet-based technology allows personnel to conduct inspections and capture data which is then stored in a cloud-based system.
