Renaissance Care homes to be guided by former Bupa director

During his nine-year stint with Bupa, Twigg progressed from working as a staff nurse in 2010 to becoming a home manager in Glasgow by 2014. He later became the regional director of care homes for Edinburgh and the north-east of England. He will now oversee the seven Renaissance Care Central Belt homes – Croftbank, Rosepark, Letham Park, Mathieson, Glencairn, Whitecraigs and Milford House – catering to more than 270 residents. He said: “Future plans include continuing to grow the business, increase staff engagement, build the brand and reputation of each home within the local communities.”

Diamond, who joins from rival Edinburgh firm Muckle Media, brings with her more than 18 years of PR experience, including involvement with campaigns for the likes of Glenmorangie and Samsung. She recently worked on a year-long campaign for Heriot-watt University and continues to act as a consultant to the education institution.

Claire Johnston, who lives in Whitburn, West Lothian, joins from Auchrannie Resort in Arran. She worked for Auchrannie for more than three years as HR & people development manager, implementing changes such as the business becoming Living Wage accredited and employee-owned.

He steps up from a similar role at Change Recruitment, where he spent eight years developing an intimate understanding of the financial services sector in Scotland.

Pittenweem resident Marr brings more than 13 years’ post-qualification experience in the surveying and valuation industry in Fife, with most of this time spent carrying out residential valuations in St Andrews and the surrounding area.
