Warning shot

-

The Prime Minister refusing a second independence referendum will not be “the end of the matter”, Nicola Sturgeon has insisted as she warned Boris Johnson: “Scotland cannot be imprisoned in the Union against its will.” Imprisoned? Just when I thought it couldn’t get more ridiculous. I don’t feel persecuted. I quite like my life. Would it become better after independence? Nope. Would I be paying more for those who don’t work, don’t contribute and have weans all over the place? Yep. I await their plans to help those who use food banks. They say they’re going to stop the need for use of them but they don’t say how.

Eddie van Coupon Imprisoned? Her rhetoric becomes more demented by the day! Anyhow, it’s Sturgeon and her cronies who want to imprison us

Scots behind the hard border that would inevitably go up in the event of independence.

Reality Demands To Be Heard The rest of the UK is now moving on; however, up here nothing changes.

Off thegrid A dead cat bounce for the SNP off the back of the Labour party collapse has the nationalists frothing. If this temporary blip doesn’t get them what they want it is all over for them! Smell their panic!

Roastin Bring it on... Vote to Remain... Sturgeon resigns... Life looks up...!

Mr Old & Grumpy “The SNP will not consider a further referendum without a consistent 60%” – quote from 2015. And they say Boris tells lies.

Mike Ogs 2015? That’s ancient history consigned to the books that will be burned at the next SNP conference.

The people of Scotland will decide whether/when there will be another indyref. If Westminster disregards their will then the consequences will be dire for all.

45 per cent of those who voted on Thursday voted for the SNP; 55 per cent voted for pro-uk parties, so presumably those 55 per cent are (ie a majority) are not being “imprisoned in the union against their will”.

And Nicola Sturgeon admitted on Andrew Marr’s show that not everyone who voted SNP on Thursday supports independence.

Not a lemming

No, we’re Scottish and British out of choice, Nicola. Remember 2014? I’m sure you’re trying hard to forget and have been doing so since the day after the referendum. This GE was not a mandate for a further independence vote and this was expressed by you on your yellow bus.

Ingin Johnnie Did I miss something? When did more than 50% of the electorate in Scotland express any desire or interest in leaving the the UK?
