Edinburgh MP Joanna Cherry has been accused of political self-indulgence by announcing she wants to quit Westminster for Holyrood amid claims the resulting by-election could cost nearly £250,000. Joanna Cherry would be an asset in Holyrood. And I’d be happy if all MPS left Westminster to it and all business with the UK was transacted through the Scottish government.
Westminster is the past, Holyrood is the future. Cherry clearly recognises this.

I think we can all agree your presence in Westminster will never achieve anything as we all know Westminster is hugely overwhelmingly biased towards England. Come home to Holyrood and win us independence because only with independence will we be able to truly govern Scotland properly.
