A fine start with early sunshine however cloud will build in from the west across Scotland during the morning. A largely cloudy afternoon with bright spells at times and the threat of a few showers. Light to gentle southerly winds. OUTLOOK

Tomorrow will be largely dull and cloudy with showery outbreaks of rain in the north however it will be brighter in the south with sunny spells and showers. Mostly cloudy on Saturday with showery rain which will be heavy at times.
