#DEATHSECRETARY

UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock burst into laughter as Sky News presenter Kay Burley asked about the new Test & Trace policy.

@itrainedflowers said: “Worst death rate in the world. Totally hilarious. Dangerous, incompetent, ignorant, selfish, silver spoon Tory psychopaths don’t give a toss about us.”

@Harryslaststand said: “Nothing defines a Tory so much as Matt Hancock, who can smile while being one of the authors of a disastrous #COVID19 plan that has seen 60k dead. Any normal, decent person would be sickened by the death on his watch. But not him it’s a jape because they aren’t the 1%.”

@Crossgatecentre added: “#Deathsecretary is a fitting public response to laughing boy’s performance when pressed over the Johnson regime’s latest wheeze to distract from the Cummings furore. Time for Scotland to be shot of such creatures.”

@anishap321 said: “@Matthancock laughing like an absolute fool to avoid having to answer to what we can all see plain and clear – Test and Trace is not ready to roll out but they’ve done so to try and distract the public and change the news cycle.

#MIGHT

Durham Police’s inquiry into Dominic Cummings’ 50-mile trip to Barnard Castle during lockdown has concluded that the government adviser might have broken rules, but no further legal action would be taken.

@thechefie said: “Why are Durham Police not going to fine Cummings? There is no such thing as a ‘minor breach’. There is only a breach or not a breach. Yes/ No. If Yes then fine him !”

@streakyblue1951 said: “Oh put a sock in it. For a minor breach the police would have a word with you and tell you not to do it again.”

@kristianvanders said: “A ‘minor breach’? So he only broke the law a *little* bit? Okay.”

@Nt_esq added: “Imagine only getting a little big mugged.. A little bit stabbed. A little bit burgled... what a world.”

@Ministryofmess tweeted: “One rule for them, one rule for everyone else. Vote when the time comes!”

@Dc7073bloss said: “If my husband decided to drive his truck while he thought his vision was impaired he’d not only lose his licence and get a ban, but probably never work again. Testing your eyesight isnt a valid excuse to break lockdown rules.”
