Mike Bartlett won over countless fans when his drama Doctor Foster became a BBC smash. He also penned this play, which is directed for the stage by Rupert Goold. It’s a tragicomic drama about national identity, family, passion and the disappointment of personal dreams, set in the garden of an English country house which has been bought by Audrey Walters.
