Two in hospital after serious crash

A 96-year-old man and a 94-year-old woman have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A9 near Aviemore. The crash at 3.55pm, involving a black Volkswagen, a black Citroen and a blue Ford Fiesta happened near the B9152 junction.

Emergency services attended and the man and woman, who were the driver and passenger of the Ford Fiesta, were taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment to serious injuries. The road is closed for an investigat­ion to be carried out.
