Week 22 highlights

Welcome to Week 22 of The Scotsman Sessions. With the performing arts world shutting down for the foreseeable future, we are commissioning a series of short video performances from artists all around the country and releasing them on scotsman. coms. This week, Glasgow’s Kapil Seshasayee teams up with producer Edwin Mclachlan on drums to play his song The Item Girl; Maxim Emelyanychev and Nikita Naumov perform the Andante from Rachmaninov’s Cello Sonata in G minor; Stuart Ramage of Castle Douglas duo Vanives gives a solo rendition of new track Babyshowers; and playwright and actor Jo Clifford performs an extract from her translation of Pedro Calderon’s Spanish Golden Age drama Life Is A Dream.
