Costain set to report profit

Construction and engineering group Costain said it expects to report an operating profit in the first half of the year when stripping out the effects of a legal battle with the Welsh government over a road.

Its said that when stripping out the effects of such contracts, its operating profit will come in at £5.7 million. The company’s results have been delayed to 14 September.
