Woman attacked near Falkirk Wheel

A 28-year-old woman was attacked and verbally abused by a group of youths as she walked along the canal path close to the Falkirk Wheel visitor centre.

Police said the woman was approached by four males and two females - aged between 11 and 20 - who abused her using sexualised language and assaulted her at around 6.45pm on Wednesday, August 12. Two of the youths were on black and white bikes.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
