Sauce of upset?

Knorr in Germany has felt compelled to rename its “Zigeuner Sauce” because it translates as “Gypsy Sauce”, which is somehow regarded as racist. It will now be, clumsily, “Paprika Sauce Hungarian Style”. Perhaps then, Pablo de Sarasate’s magnificent composition for violin and orchestra “Zigeunerweisen”, which translates as “Gypsy Airs” should now be renamed “Hungarian Style Airs”.
