Hair force one: Hairdressing and beauty salon offering self-contained studios

Entrepreneur Roz Colthart has created an offering she says delivers heightened safety for postcovid-19 hair and beauty treatments. Her Salon Studios business in Edinburgh’s Corstorphine provides rentable, self-contained, separately ventilated studios, allowing self-employed salon workers and their customers to meet in a “more controlled way”. She said: “The way we have set up our spaces means there is no chance whatsoever of cross-contamination between any of our treatment rooms and this for some may make the difference between feeling safe or not.”
