Change of chief at coach firm

National Express said its boss is to leave the coach operator early in order to take his new role as chief of housebuilding giant Persimmon.

The transport group said chief executive Dean Finch will now leave the company at the end of August. Its current chief financial officer Chris Davies will take over as interim chief executive from the start of September.
