Man killed after car and lorry collide

A man has died and a woman has been seriously injured after their car was involved in a crash with a lorry in Angus.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on the A92 St Cyrus to Montrose road at Kinnaber on Saturday afternoon after a lorry was in collision with a Kia Picanto car.

The 53-year-old male driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene while his female passenger was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after suffering serious injuries.
