Dog who ingested cannabis rescued
A dog was rescued by an animal welfare charity after it was found by a member of the public and discovered to have ingested cannabis.
The shar pei cross was picked up by the Scottish SPCA on 17 August in Linwood, Renfrewshire.
He was rushed to an emergency vet where the cannabis was traced, but the dog is now recovering at one of the charity’s animal rescue centres.
A microchip in the pet only revealed its name as Buddy with other details appearing to be outdated.
