Man charged over Aberdeen death

A man has been charged in connection with the death of a 60-year-old in Aberdeen.

Clifford Anderson was found injured in Jasmine Terrace on Sunday.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but later died.

A 26-year-old man is expected to make an appearance at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in connection with the death.

Mr Anderson’s family paid tribute to a “happy, friendly person” in a statement released through Police Scotland.
