Third man charged over flat murder

A third man has appeared in court charged with murdering a man in East Dunbartonshire.

Robert Cunningham was injured in a flat in Braehead Street, Kirkintilloch, on Saturday morning. The 29-year-old was taken to hospital where he died on Monday.

Yesterday Robert Meechan, 34, from Kirkintillo ch, was charged with murder. He made no plea at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody. His appearance follows that of Robert Mcsporran, 28, and Christopher Watt, 31, at the court on Tuesday.
