Man’s body found on Salisbury Crags

A body has been found on Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh.

Police Scotland said the discover y was made around 1:20pm yesterday.

The emergency services were sent to the scene and an investigation is under way.

The crags are a series of steep cliffs next to Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said :“Police were called after the body of a 58- year-old man was discovered on Salisbury Crags. A post-mortem examination will be carried out.”
