Gogic cap call is merited says Ross

Hibs midfielder Alex Gogic, inset, has been named in the Cyprus squad for the first time, for the Nations L e a g u e g a mes a g a i n s t Montenegro and Azerbaijan, and his club manager Jack Ross says t h e r e w a r d h a s c o m e sooner than expected.

“We f e l t Hi b s wa s a p l a t f o r m f o r him to improve but also maybe give him more profile and recognition,” Ross said. “It has maybe come a little quicker than he might have thought, but I think his performance level has merited it. It’s nice to see someone so excited by it. It means a lot to him.”
