Week 24 highlights

- Roger Cox, arts editor

Welcome to Week 24 of The Scotsman Sessions. With performing arts activity curtailed for the foreseeable future, we are commissioning a series of short video performances from artists all around the country and releasing them on scotsman.com, with introductions from our critics. This week, Attic Lights frontman Kev Sherry performs an unplugged version of new single Shoes That Make You Taller; stand-up comedian Keir Mcallister draws our attention to some of the “hidden victims” of the cancellation of this year ’s Edinburgh festivals; folk singer Kirsty Law performs traditional song, The Shearing outside the Scottish Parliament; and Hannah Jarrett-scott and Christina Gordon revisit the opening scene of Pride And Prejudice* (*sort of ), Isobel Mcarthur ’s brilliant 21st century stage adaptation of the Jane Austen classic novel.
