Man in court over Govan flat death

A man has appeared in court charged with murder following a death in a Glasgow flat.

Police were called to an address on Summer town Path in Govan at 12:30am on Monday.

A 33- year-old man was found injured in the property.

He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but died a short time later.

Reece Sweeney appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday charged with his murder.

The 21-year-old made no plea and was remanded in custody.
