Food imitates art: How one woman is bringing culture to life using toast to amuse her colleagues

Administration worker Caroline Barnes from the University of Portsmouth has begun turning her daily lunches into works of art to am use her colleagues while working at home during the pandemic.

She has used pieces of toast to recreate scenes from fictional works such as American Gothic, as well as to replicate famous artworks such as Edvard Munch’s painting titled The Scream.
