Eating disorder services mapped

A map covering the range of services for people with eating disorders across Scotland has been published.

The Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland has unveiled its new paper looking at care, treatment and support for people with the conditions.

It includes a mapping exercise– the first of its kind in Scotland – showing significant variation in the organisation of services. Findings included families who said there was not enough support for them as they tried to manage the situation at home.
