Fair play: Retail co-operative Scotmid praised once again for tax transparen­cy

Scottish convenienc­e retailer and co-operative Scotmid has been awarded the Fair Tax Mark for the fifth consecutiv­e year, in recognitio­n of its continued transparen­cy and commitment to paying taxes. It is one of only three organisati­ons headquarte­red in Scotland that has achieved the mark. John Brodie, Scotmid chief executive – pictured left, with financial controller Gavin Robertson, right – said: “We are immensely proud of achieving this mark once again. As a co-operative, we take great pride in the contributi­on we make to those communitie­s we serve.”
