A dog was found with more than 60 wounds from a pellet gun in North Lanarkshire. The animal was discovered by a local dog warden on 19 August in Newhouse, and taken to the S cottish SPCA rescue centre in Lanarkshire. The lurcher, named Ashton by the charity, is now recovering.
