Turbulent times: Jet2 owner Dart Group says prices will need to remain ‘enticing’
Jet2 airline owner Dart Group has said prices will need to remain “enticing” to attract cautious holidaymakers as more countries are added to the UK’S coronavirus quarantine list. The Dart Group said winter 20/21 bookings have yet to match capacity cuts, although it said bookings to date for summer 2021 are “encouraging”. The firm also announced plans to change the group name to Jet2 plc, aligned with its two brands Jet2holidays and Jet2.com. Travel firms have been dealt a blow by an ever-growing list of countries being placed on the UK quarantine list.
