Easter Road club confirm departure of goalkeeper coach Combe after six years

Hibs have confirmed the departure of goal keeping coach Alan Combe after six years at the club. The 46-yearold moved to Easter Road in July 2014 and initially kept his playing registration in case of emergency.

He worked under Alan Stubbs during the Scottish Cup triumph in 2016, through promotion back to the top - flight with Neil Lennon and continued under Paul Hecking bottom. Combec on tinued to serve under Jack Ross following the manager’ s appointment last November but became surplus to requirements following the arrival of Craig Samson in the summer.

Samson, who has not yet been officially unveiled at Easter Road, coached under Ross at Sunderland and was goalkeeping coach of League One club Rochdale last season.
