Man charged over building site fire

A man has been charged over a fire that took place more than three months ago in Ab erdeenshire.

The incident happened between 8pm on 20 May and 8am on 21 May on a building site on R athan Road, Cairnbulg. Fire crews attended, but were not needed as the blaze had extinguished itself, with no-one injured.

Police Scotland has now confirmed that a 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

A report is to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
