Key moment

- Scotland · Glasgow · Nicola Sturgeon

Nicola Sturgeon said we were in a ‘key moment’ in the battle against coronavirus as she revealed at yesterday’s briefing that the previous 24 hours had seen

146 positive cases of coronavirus reported across Scotland, with no new reported deaths

I know the numbers have risen but no deaths is such good news. Hopefully it’s weakening and we can all get on with life and not be bombarded with coronavirus updates.

Lucy Chambers It’s good that deaths are decreasing, but there are still the long-term effects to worry about.

Sarah Jane Flynn End this farce now and let football fans back, and live entertainment before all the theatres and music venues go bust. Sturgeon may think that when tens of thousands subsequently are unemployed they will vote for SNP but I am not so sure. I would be angry and vote for any other party if she destroyed my livelihood and changed my life.

How many required intensive care or even hospitalisation?

Has Sturgeon not wrestled that virus into submission yet? Maybe it’s hiding in the rusted out ferries in Port Glasgow.
