Daryl H organ has hit the ground running at Wycombe Wanderers following his move from Hibs, writes Matthew Elder.

The Irish internatio­nal joined the newly-promoted English Championsh­ip side last week for an undisclose­d fee after two years at Easter Road.

He featured in every game for Jack Ross’ side this season up until the most recent 1- 0 defeat to Aberdeen, where his absence was due to the imp ending transfer following the arrival of Jamie Murphy on loan from Rangers.

H organ’ s last goal for Hibscamei na pre-season friendly draw with the Dons on 25 July, with his last competitiv­e strike coming in a 3-1 win over Mother well last November in Ross’s first game in charge.

His most memorable moment in a Hibs jersey came in April 2019 when he scored a double in an Edinburgh derby win over Hearts at Tynecastle.

The 28- year-old quicklye nd eared himself to Wycombe fans as he broke his duck in his first game for his new club at the weekend, scoring in the Carabao Cup match against Brentford on Saturday just days after his Easter Road exit.

The wing er made an instant impression, coming off the bench to equalise as Gareth Ainsworth’s 10 men earned a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes, before losing 4-2 on penalties.
