Former G4S executives charged with defrauding UK ministry
Three former executives of G4S C a r e a n d Jus t i c e S e r vices have been charged with d e f r a u d i n g t h e Mi n i s t r y o f Justice (MOJ).
R i c h a r d M o r r i s , f o r m e r m a n a g i n g d i r e c t o r o f t h e company, and t wo ex- directors of its electronic monitoring business – former commercial director Mark Preston and former finance manager James Jardine – are each charged with seven counts of fraud. They appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ C our t yesterday accused of committing the offences in relation to false representations made to the MOJ. G4S Care and Justice provided electronic monitoring services to the UK government from 2005 to 2013.
