Vistry swings to first-half deficit

Vis try Group swung to a loss in the first half of the year as the company had to deal with weeks of lockdown at its building sites across the UK.

The company lost £12.2 million before tax in the six months to 30 June, after it made £72.5 min profit a year earlier. It came even as revenue jumped by 28 percent to£606.4m and it completed 5 per cent more homes, at 1,724.
