Campervan conversion specialist accelerating
A Western Isles-based camper van conversion business has launched, and has already confirmed partners to take operations overseas.
Studio Vans was founded in June by chartered engineer Rob Hall, and makes readyto-go fit-outs for camper van conversions. It works with local and international makers and designers, and offers a customisable service using sustainable and premium crafted materials. It received advice during lockdown from Business Gateway, and obtaining funding enabled it to buy key manufacturing products and contributed to the fit-out costs required to launch in Balivanich, in a unit leased from Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
Studio Vans has now intro - duced a waiting list to cop e with demand from across the UK, and has already confirmed partners to expand into Australia and New Zealand.
