Dundee eye ex-united man Ciftci

Dundee have been linked with the former Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci.

The 28- year-old recently signed a two-year contract with Turkish Super Lig club Caykur Rizespor.

But Dundee manager JamesMcpake has been credited with an interest in the player who also had spells in Scotland with Celtic and Motherwell.

He achieved notoriety while playing for United when he bit the leg of Dundee player Jim Mcalister in a derby match.
