Murder inquiry into street death
Police have launched a murder inquiry into the death of a man found seriously injured in the street in Glasgow.
Omer Sadiq, 32, was found by officers who were flagged down on Boydstone Road in the cit y’s southside around 1: 25pm on Tuesday. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but died a short time later. Following a post- mortem examination, Police Scotland said his death was now being treated as murder. Detective Inspector Brian Gribbons said: “We are following a positive line of inquiry.”
