Ex-soldier set to launch 24/7 fitness studio at M8 site

-

Former British Army soldier Jamie Read is to put employees through their paces at a fitness studio he is opening at a Scottish business park.

Read is launching the Enduro Fit Studio at the Maxim Park site off the M8 next month.

The venue will be open 24/7 for people based in Maxim at Euro central and further afield.

After leaving the Army, Read worked as a protection professional for wealthy, high-profile families and provided private security services in hotspots

including Syria, Somalia and Iraq. He is also a semi-professional mountain biker.

Read said: “Creating the studio is a really exciting development – it allows me to combine my passions for sports, fitness and nutrition in one place and share that with people who want to be the healthiest versions of themselves.

“Starting a business like this during Covid-19 will be an interesting challenge, but people’s health and fitness will only become more important in the months ahead.”
